Aster Medcity sets up field hospital in Kochi for Covid patients May 19, 2021 Geojit Foundation has funded the initiative with ₹75 lakh Aster Medcity has set up a 100-bed field hospital in a building owned by BPCL Kochi refinery at Ambalamugal, to serve the needy. Aster Volunteers, the global CSR programme of Aster DM Healthcare, has signed an MoU with Geojit Foundation to support the first 50 beds at Aster Geojit Covid Field Hospital, which will start accepting patients from Wednesday. Facilities set up earlier Azad Moopen, Founder Chairman and Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare, said “Being a responsible healthcare provider, we consider it as our responsibility to serve patients in spite of the risks and challenges. We have already set up three Covid Care field hospitals in New Delhi, Kozhikode and Kottakkal to support India’s fight against the pandemic.”

CII Kerala unit to provide Centralized Oxygen Manifold System Updated: Updated: Share Article AAA THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) Kerala unit is to set up Centralized Oxygen Manifold System in 20 Government Hospitals across Kerala with the support of the National Health Mission. The project, estimated to cost ₹1.9 crore, will create around 950 Oxygen beds in the next two weeks in the 20 hospitals, Sreenath Vishnu, Chairman, CII Kerala State Council, has informed the Chief Secretary, V. P. Joy during the Interactive Session held to apprise the Government about the issues and concerns of the Industry in the wake of second wave of COVID 19.

CII-Kerala moots centralised oxygen manifold in 20 hospitals

May 06, 2021 Members, National Health Mission to chip in Confederation of Indian Industry-Kerala, with the help of member companies and support from the National Health Mission, is setting up a centralised oxygen manifold system in 20 government hospitals across the State. This will create around 950 oxygen beds in the next two weeks, according to Sreenath Vishnu, Chairman, CII Kerala State Council and Executive Director, Brahmins Foods India. The total estimated cost of the project cost is ₹1.9 crore, he said in a CII interactive session with VP Joy, Chief Secretary, Kerala. Companies who are supporting the initiative include Mane Kancor Ingredients, Akay Natural Ingredients, Buimerc Foundation, Rubfila International, Malankara Plantations, Terumo Penpol, Geojit Foundation, Kanam Latex, Skyline Builders, and Brahmins Food India.
