The names of top army officers who lost their lives alongside the Chief of Army Staff, General Ibrahim Attahiru in the plane crash that occurred in Kaduna on Friday have been released.
DAILY POST reported that a military Beachcraft 350 carrying the late Army chief alongside his aides crashed at the Kaduna International Airport on Friday, claiming the lives of all passengers.
The top military officers were in Kaduna on an official trip.
Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, Nigerian Air Force Director of Information also confirmed the mishap in a statement.
Bashir Ahmad, a Presidential aide, in a post shared on his Twitter page while expressing condolences to the deceased released a list of officers on the plane.

Nigeria was yesterday thrown into mourning, when its 21st Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru, along with six senior officers and four crew members perished in an air crash in Kaduna.
Attahiru and the others were onboard Nigerian Air Force Kingair 350 from Abuja to Kaduna, ahead of todayâs passing out parade of soldiers from the Nigerian Army Depot in Zaria, when the crash happened amid torrential rainfall.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed deep sadness over the air crash, saying the military officers would not die in vain.
