On the other side, 85 northbound and 40 eastbound coming in from the western side of Orange County through hillsborough, we have all lanes open but some heavy residual delays as people trying to work their way through that area. Lets head over to that part of the map an again, well in advance of the 70 interchange there heading into hillsborough. 70 is your best option if youre trying to get from the western side of Orange County out towards durham this morning. You can pick up 85 on the other side of the delays. You will notice that red there, very heavy eastbound delays on highway 70. It might at this point be best for you to stay in the traffic. Police say a man broke into a womans home. The suspect eventually left the house but did not let go of his weapon. Officers used a taser but he continued toward them so officers fired. That man who has not been identified was pronounced dead at the hospital. A hiker from vermont was found dead on Mount Harvard a 14er in central ra the Chaffee County Sheriffs Office says 46 yearold Eric Poehlman was reported missing on wednesday when he didnt return from a day hike. Rescuers found his body on thursday morning just below the summit at about 14 thousand200 feet. They say he had no apparent injuries and foul play is not suspected.
