Because theres an increase in coronavirus cases and hospitalizations throughout the county and its gotten so bad that the numbers are showing that almena county has most ksat of any county in the bay area and that has caused major concern for Public Health officials theyve been deciding what to do in terms of reopening or not county Public Health Officials Say the number of cases has risen in the last week from 63 to 71 per 100,000 people before this though they were seeing a decline in numbers so officials thought it was time to move forward with the states case for reopening by applying for variance attestation putting the county officially in stage 2 thats where a lot of counties are in our state.
