30-year-old Awez Khan, a resident of Frazer Town, brought an iPhone 13 in October 2021 with a year long warranty and a few months later, he encountered issues with the battery and the speaker.
At the service centre, he was assured that the problem could be resolved, and he would receive his phone back within a week. After a few days, he received a call claiming the issue had been resolved and he could retrieve his iPhone but the issue seemingly remained.
The person living in Frazer Town has alleged that the watchman at his building was taken away by the police as he had bought a stolen cycle. “He had bought a cycle from an ad on Facebook two months ago. After using it for a while, he sold it to another person. I saw him reselling the cycle, and I was witness to the sale of the cycle. The watchman didn’t know that the cycle was stolen,” he said.
The stretch between Memorial Drive and Camp Road was dug up by the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) Major Pipelines Division for replacing underground drainage pipes. Though the replacement of UGD pipes is complete, the road is yet to be restored by the BWSSB authorities.
