On Thursday, Dec. 1, a 48-year-old Ogema man suffered an overdose, and two doses of Narcan were administered before the victim responded positively, according to a Becker County emergency dispatch report. Also, a caller reported their 4-year-old son was assaulted on a school bus in Frazee. Scratches and bite marks were reported and the caller said the boy was also punched.
On Sept. 10, near Waubun, a 48-year-old Fargo man suffered unknown injuries during an ATV rollover and was transported Mahnomen Health Services for treatment. Also, on Sept. 11, near Osage, a 67-year-old Osage man was reportedly trapped after his ATV rolled over. Neighbors assisted and lifted the ATV off the man. No injuries were reported.
On Friday, Nov. 19 at 9:16 a.m., on the 200 block of east Oak Avenue, Frazee, Timothy David Lee, 32, of Frazee, was reported missing by his mother. She has seen people driving around in his vehicle, which she believes was stolen from him. An attempt-to-locate notice has been place on Lee and an investigation was opened in cooperation with the Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office and the Frazee Police Department. Also, on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 1:08 a.m., and 6:08 p.m., on the 27000 block of 374th Street, Waubun, a 30-year-old woman was involved in two overdose emergency calls. During the evening emergency call, she was administered two doses of Narcan and transported to a nearby medical clinic for treatment and evaluation.
On Thursday, Sept. 30 at 5:02 p.m., on the 200 block of Cherry Ridge Drive, Detroit Lakes, a 16-year-old boy was detained after assaulting his mother. No injuries were reported at the scene and the detained teenager was transported to a juvenile detention facility in Moorhead. Also, on Friday, Oct. 1 at 1:38 p.m., on the 1000 block of 1st Avenue, Lake Park, a 58-year-old was the target of an online scam. She said she lost $1,000 in the fraud and was advised to contact her financial institution to hold her account.
