Since Thursday, Feb. 17, 43 crashes, involving 61 vehicles, were reported to Becker County emergency dispatch. In total, six people were transported to nearby medical clinics and treated for injuries sustained in the crashes. Also, on Sunday, Fed. 20 at 12: 17 p.m., at the Becker County Jail, a 35-year-old male inmate, of Duluth, suffered an apparent drug overdose. One dose of Narcan was administered to the inmate, who responded positively. The inmate was transported to a nearby medical clinic for treatment and returned. He said he had ingested an unknown amount of methamphetamines, cocaine and fentanyl.
On Friday, Nov. 19 at 9:16 a.m., on the 200 block of east Oak Avenue, Frazee, Timothy David Lee, 32, of Frazee, was reported missing by his mother. She has seen people driving around in his vehicle, which she believes was stolen from him. An attempt-to-locate notice has been place on Lee and an investigation was opened in cooperation with the Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office and the Frazee Police Department. Also, on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 1:08 a.m., and 6:08 p.m., on the 27000 block of 374th Street, Waubun, a 30-year-old woman was involved in two overdose emergency calls. During the evening emergency call, she was administered two doses of Narcan and transported to a nearby medical clinic for treatment and evaluation.
