On Jan. 17, three laptops and other electronic items were reported stolen from a residence, according to an emergency dispatch report. A suspect is being sought in connection with the incident.
On Thursday, Dec. 1, a 48-year-old Ogema man suffered an overdose, and two doses of Narcan were administered before the victim responded positively, according to a Becker County emergency dispatch report. Also, a caller reported their 4-year-old son was assaulted on a school bus in Frazee. Scratches and bite marks were reported and the caller said the boy was also punched.
A wood room in a residence on Mary Yellowhead Road in Ogema was reported as on fire on Saturday, Nov. 5, according to an emergency dispatch report. The ceiling was reportedly burning around a pipe. All occupants evacuated safely. The fire was extinguished after about 80 minutes.
The investigator went to the mobile home that the suspect had listed as his address, near the intersection of Bear Clan Drive and County Road 34 in White Earth. He found there was no blue number (911 address) or mailbox. The mobile home was abandoned and not livable. There were holes in the walls and floor, according to court records.
According to court records, the officer gave repeated commands for the driver to exit the vehicle. The driver, later identified as Lucifer, was attempting to open the driver's side door and was yelling for the officer to "shoot him." He was eventually placed under arrest.
