Reconstruction. We are about to begin our next session. In our next session deals with understanding in the modern time in reconstruction. Two speakers this morning. Someone who is from Clemson University and Brooke Thomas who is from the university of california at irvine. Are important scholars in this world. Is theburton distinguished chair of history and a professor of pan African Studies in Computer Science at Clemson University. Which is to say he is mostly the entire university at this point. I could read all of his distinguished awards and honors and he wouldnt have time to talk. I can only say that he has written a number of very important books. He has given major lectures at many institutions most recently the annual lecture and southern history at the university of arkansas. Im still quite young. I grew up on a farm. And we had no money. We grew our own food. Food. No problem with we grew chickens. We had cows and make our own salt and sugar.
