Toward big sur where they are just getting pummeled you see all that rain coming in there right now the core low still spinning off the coastline and that means were going to see wave after wave of Energy Rolling off coastline and pump into california right in the bay area that is going to keep things going very wet on and off throughout the night tonight. And well into tomorrow as well you see the rain though a fairly light scattered showers around much of the bay area but head further south its a different story in fact that rain really has been coming down to the moderate base limits gilroy and into the Santa Cruz Mountains, when morgan hill youre just getting pummeled right now with some very heavy rainfall. Some of the rain rates over the mountain tops there were looking at over 3 inches per hour that is a flooding type of rain that youre going to get in there you go over 3 almost 4 inches of rain per hour with that cell thats moving through there that has been a slow mover indeed

Flood advisory has expired within just the past hour. But a Flash Flood Watch is in effect that curation orders and warnings remain in place near the burn zones in san mateo and santa cruz counties see her on the map the areas shaded in yellow are under evacuation warnings. The areas in red have evacuation orders in place. Is rain and snow knocked out power for more than half a million pg e customers in northern california. Yeah, the latest is that many people here in santa and as well as fairfax mill valley and hope to get their power back on by 10 oclock this evening that was the original plan as stated by pg and but theyve not gotten the allclear for these areas yet as a result it could be 6 oclock tomorrow night before power comes on here.
