Spurred by double-digit growth in recent years, the Four Seasons Family of Companies has started a major expansion project at its 400 Wabash Road campus in Ephrata that will include a second dock, more multi-temperature cold storage rooms and more ripening rooms for bananas and avocados.
The Four Seasons Family of Companies on Monday announced a $30 million expansion of its Ephrata area distribution center.
The project will enlarge its facility at 400 Wabash Road by more than 50%, adding space needed to handle the companiesâ âconsistent double-digitâ increases in revenue âover the past several years.â
Scheduled for completion next spring, the project will expand the 250,000-square-foot complex in East Cocalico Township by 131,000 square feet, said President and CEO Jason Hollinger.
The Four Seasonsâ companies include its original business, Four Seasons Produce, a wholesale distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables to independent supermarkets, natural food stores, food co-ops, e-commerce companies and other professional buyers.

GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) A group of local restaurant workers are making sure they’re not forgotten in the debate over the increase in minimum wage. State lawmakers are looking at a plan to gradually increase Indiana’s minimum and President Joe Biden is pushing for a change at the federal level too.
Wait staff makes a minimum of $2.13, plus tips. The $2.13 is called the tip wage. Servers want the tip wage to go up at least $0.50.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and the busiest at Four Seasons Family Restaurant.
“I came back to waiting tables five years ago,” waitress Lisa Clodfelter said.
