Two suspects are behind bars in this week’s killing of a 16-year-old in Tuscaloosa.
Jashon Griffin, 22, and Johnneius Wilson, 17, have been arrested and charged with capital murder and attempted murder. Wilson was already out on a bond for a murder with which he was charged in June 2020.
Xzorian Gray was killed in this week’s shooting that happened about 11 p.m. Tuesday near Fosters Ferry Road and 21st Street. Tuscaloosa police arrived at the scene to find Gray wounded inside a vehicle.
UPDATE: A 16-year-old boy has been identified as the victim of a fatal Tuscaloosa shooting.
According to reports, the Tuscaloosa Police Department has confirmed Xzorian Gray was shot and killed on Tuesday night at Fosters Ferry Road and 21st Street.
This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information pertaining to the crime is asked to contact Tuscaloosa police at 205-349-2121 or at the department’s violent crimes unit at 205-464-8690.

TUSCALOOSA A Tuesday-night shooting has left one man dead in Tuscaloosa.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Fosters Ferry Road and 21st Street. According to the Tuscaloosa Police Department, officers were called to the area at 11 p.m. Tuesday and discovered a young male victim inside a vehicle. He was suffering from gunshot wound injuries.
