His research focuses on issues that face veterans and military personneld, force structure and readiness issues and Civil Military relations. His most recent article what america owes its veterans was published in its currentha issue of Foreign Affairs magazine. Serving in iraq from 2,522,006 as an adviser to the state department for Reconstruction Team mr. Carter returned home to an increasing involvement in Veterans National affairs. As a civilian he has worked as in the private sector as an attorney and business adviser and is currently teaching is an adjunct professor of law at georgetown university. Un today he is with us

Is flo groberg was born in paris. He lived there until he was 11 years old. He moved to the United States with his family. He attended high school here outside of washington where he ran track and was a track star at the university of maryland. I had a chance to talk to him a little bit yesterday and along with his mother, and his mother told me that he called her after the september 11th attacks, and said he wanted to serve his country. He finished college. Enlisted in the army and in order

At these ceremonies where you receive the medal of honor, you dont speak, the president tells your story, and thats what happened today, as president obama recounted the events of the day in afghanistan back in 2012 when captain flo groberg was in charge of a security detail escorting Senior Officers on foot when he saw a man walking backwards who looked suspicious. The president picks up the tail from there. The man spun around and turned toward them, thats when flo sprinted toward him.
