What we are seeing is a little break from that summer heat as we kick off august today. First day of the month and the first 3 days of this new month or going to stay cool. Your view outside from mount tam showing you that view from above the cloud cover little hint at what some of us will see later on today. We do have a lot of that low stratus hanging out further inland. So youre noticing that as youre getting outside that cool marine layer, though, part of the reason why we are going to be on that cooler side of things even into the afternoon 50s 60s for current temperatures, not budging much through the morning. Weve been staying pretty steady these past few hours and towards the afternoon today, youll notice how much cooler feels lot of our inland areas only in the upper 70s to low 80s with 60s and 70s near the bay rain. A san pablo street remains blocked off and residents ordered out of their homes this afternoon a day after illegal backyard shed. Found in a this map shows the size of t area of the original evacuation order. It covered a bck in each direction around the house on stanton avenue. Its been scaled back just a bit. Joins us with the latest. Reporter we are told half of the 1000 chemical bottles that were found have been removed. Some good news, some residents are being allowed to return home. This is really unprecedented, scene chemicals that seem to be hoarded over a nearly 50 year period in a shed in this individuals backyard. Bottles of mostly illegal chemicals were found at a house in this san pablo neighborhood. The man who allegedly lived here was in his 80s. He died a few months ago. His brother came by to clean up the property. Theres been some speculation, in talking to their brother or others that he may have been a chemistry professor, but that hasnt been confirmed.
