This is in preparation for the election. The fbi in San Francisco says they set up a command post so they can better work with local officials election night. The concern is that there will be violent protests from extremist groups. Law enforcement officers around the bay area are on high alert. When we have protests, if they get large, there is always an element within that group that will try to do destruction or harm. I take my paper and my booking came in right away. Of the sites are a bit more of a destination. Alameda county reached out to us and they were interested in using us as a polling place because we are a big warehouse and of course we jumped on it right away. Were just really happy to be a part of democracy. Voting rules mean you cannot drink your beer on the premises. It is nice to be able to come here, do my voting in person and pick up a treat afterwards. One after another told us that this emergency arrangement is how it should be every year. Its a saturday and i can vote right now. You can vote on a saturday. Yes, yes. I think this should be the norm. Where you get a couple of days. We did not see much in the way of lines today. Just a lot of voters were happy to have an option on the saturday afternoon. It feels good to vote for sure, yeah.
