Reporter i talked with family members of one patient who said there was some confusion and they didnt know where their relative was. Tonight, the lights at the nursing home are back on. But, earlier, for nearly eight hours, the power was out. Emergency vehicles were queued up. At one point friday afternoon it was a scramble just finding enough vehicles and evacuation sites getting everyone relocated. This is the largest nursing home in the county. 278 beds. The flames and smoke were just shooting into the air and this happened at a victorian building thats been split up into apartments. Just a few minutes ago, i spoke with a woman who lives there. She says there are four units inside and she lives on the top unit. Unfortunately, firefighters told her that she likely lost everything. And when we got up to the building ourselves, we saw that firefighters were attacking the fire from the street and the roof and we just got word from the San Francisco fire chief that theres extensive damage in the backyard, as well.
