Tonight, however, a woman yelled thats for the dead babies and then several senators were splattered with some kind of a red liquid. Investigators are trying to determine if that was blood. Public gallery dumped a red liquid on the ti out thats for lawmakers immediately pointed to antivaccine protesters. Enough is enough. Reporter they had been on the Capitol Steps for a week protesting sb276 designed to combat fake medical exemptions. Senator scott wiener tweeted this. Senator richard pan, a pediatrician and author of the bill was attacked by an anti vaccine activist several weeks ago. He said this incident was incited by the violent rhetoric perpetuated by members of the antivax movement. This is an attack on the democratic process and an assault on all californians and must be met with strong condemnation for everyone. Reporters about that incident that caused those three women to be kicked out of the jury. But we started off the week with jury drama and now we are dealing with another curveball and that is scheduling issues. We learned today from the judge that three jurors made travel plans, booked travel plans during the month of september. So now the judge has to figure out, do i allow the jurors to take the time off from the deliberation time into october and she had warned the 12 members of the jury and the alternates, clear your schedules until the month of october. That is how long this thing could possibly last. It appears three jurors did not follow that order because she told us that one juror booked a travel flight, travel plans during june. And this was when deliberations rather testimony i should say was still underway. Two other jurors also booked some travel plans while deliberation was underway.
