Mud slides covered cars hundreds of feet deep and some drivers reported having their vehicles thrown around by the rushing mud. All we saw was a mountain of boulders and dirt and stuff coming right for us and it pretty much lifted my car up and spun us around like it was nothing. My wife rolled her window down and it was like a Freight Train coming through your house. It was loud, really loud. Officials say it could take up to a day to clear the road. Some residents are still trapped in their homes after side roads were washed away they had to rescue four people and two dogs from atop one car. Other residents were hit by golf ball sized hail. Man that they remember Michael Slagers south jersey connection stems here in Burlington County all of the way to the shore where he began a career of Public Service before attending the Police Academy in South Carolina. Neighbors say they remember a Young Michael slager who lived in this home with his stepmom playing ball and a game called jail break in mt. Laurel. To think that somebody out of this neighborhood could do Something Like that i just dont understand. A far different picture than we see in video making national headline, that of the South Carolina cop pulling the trigger and now charged with the murder of walter scott, an unarmed black man who was running away.
