Them. The husband and wife are both in their 70s. They were visiting from palo alto and they were last seen on friday. They have been saying staying in a rental. More than 100 searchers because carl combed the area in the search. Our reporter has more information. The couple went on a Late Afternoon hike and the assumption is that they got lost. And searchers are stumped after a huge search today. At best, ace at dusk, a search and rescue team emerges. Search dogs here are trained to find human remains. Carol has been in erwin since 1972. They were last seen near the cottage they had rented. This fire captain knows every trail, marked or not. Dogs did hit on a few spots. There was no evidence of clothing or drag marks or anything that we consider to be liable.
