Twitter has been given ‘one last notice’ to comply to new IT rules or ‘face consequences’. The warning came after Twitter removed Vice President V Venkaiah Naidu’s ‘blue tick’ verification on Saturday.
The Union Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) has sent its final notice to Twitter over non-compliance of the new IT rules and has again warned of penal action in case the US-headquartered social media platform fails to comply to the norms.
