it turns out the d.c. drinking water kris frs a few years was actually much worse than thought. the centers for disease control mislead the public about the amount of lead in the water. now that s being discussed on capitol hill. news 4 s megan mcgrath joins us from clo from capitol hill with details of this. reporter: when high levels of lead was found in the district s water supply, the centers for disease control were brought in to assess the situation. they looked at blood tests and other data collected from people who were exposed to high levels of lead in the drinking water. they then released a study and that study concluded that there was no major health risk, even children who were exposed to high levels that that exposure did not translate into high levels of lead in the bloodstream. that put many minds at ease. now it s being investigated by a subcommittee on capitol hill, they have concluded that that study by the cdc was false, that children were indeed being h
