A final round leap of 27 feet, 3.75w inches (8.32) moved Arkansas alum LaQuan Nairn from third to first to claim the long jump title at the USATF Bermuda Grand Prix held at Flora Duff Stadium on Sunday.
Razorback thrower Ralford Mullings won the Stanford Invitational discus with a winning mark of 200 feet, 5 inches (61.09) on Friday afternoon at Cobb Track and Angell Field.
The USATF Indoor Championships, behind held in the Albuquerque Convention Center this weekend, will include seven Arkansas alums along with a couple of athletes who train in Fayetteville. Katie Izzo is part of the United States team competing at World Athletics Cross Country Championships.
