Just after midnight here in the winfield section of the the city, a 22yearold man in the car was ambushed by two men. The victim crashed into two parked cars after suspects unloaded two dozen shots at him. The pontiac that the victim was driving was hit at least nine times, we found nine bullet holes in the doors and side panel and windows, that an indication that the shooters were on both sides of the vehicle. At 1 30 in the morning another homicide happened here in north philadelphia on the 900 block of masher, there the 22yearold victim died minutes after he was taken to episcopal hospital.
