Across the city in West Philadelphia a dispute between neighbors turned violent. One homeowner retrieved a gun from his home following argument and fired 7 shots into the neighbors house hitting the victim in the back. Two more shootings around 1 00 a. M. Proved deadly here in the overnight brook section. City, a 22yearold man in the car was ambushed by two men as he attempted to turn from an alleyway on wannamaker street. The victim crashed into parked cars as the suspects fired 7 shots toward him. We found 16 spent shell casings. The pontiac was hit 9 times. We found nine bullet holes in the doors and side panels and windows on both sides of the car. Reporter around 1 30 a. M. , Episcopal Hospital notified police after a 22yearold man dropped off died five minutes after he arrived. Police believe it happened in north philadelphia in the 2900 block of masher.
