We begin tonight in lincoln where police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident. It happened on main street just before 6 00 saturday night. Adam the victim, a man from massachusetts, was struck from behind. He was taken to the hospital but wmur s Kristen Carosa spoke with investigators today. She joins us now with the details. Kristen the driver is also from massachusetts and now faces charges. State police are calling this a tragedy for both families. This portion of main street in lincoln has been marked. An investigation into a deadly pedestrian accident continues. No matter how you look at this, it is a tragedy. Kristen it happened saturday night around 5 45. Kristen police say the victim was hit from behind while walking with a group. He suffered severe injuries and later died. A tragedy can happen. Unfortunately, it did last night.
