TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Florida State Volleyball continues its spring season this weekend when it plays host to UCF, Troy and Louisiana at Tully Gym.
The Seminoles (3-3, 3-3) host UCF in a recently added match on Friday at Noon, followed by a 6 p.m. first serve on Friday vs. Troy. FSU then hosts Louisiana on Saturday at 5 p.m.
“We are extremely excited about playing matches again this weekend. It’s a gift every time we can get everyone on the court to play,” FSU head coach Chris Poole said. “Troy and Louisiana played their entire Sun Belt conference schedule last fall. Each finished second in their division. They will be scrappy and make us work on our side of the net.
2021 SPRING SCHEDULE TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Florida State Volleyball has announced its spring schedule for the 2021 season, which includes eight confirmed home matches at Tully Gym beginning with a doubleheader vs. Clemson on Saturday, Feb. 13. Overall, the Seminoles carry a 15-match schedule comprised mostly of Atlantic Coast Conference opponents. FSU is also still determining a finalized date and time for matches against Wake Forest. “The team is very excited about the opportunity to compete this spring,” FSU Head Coach Chris Poole said. “Between COVID-19 protocols and injuries last fall, we never got to practice or compete at full strength. As NCAA rules currently stand for this one year, we will not be able to play our incoming new spring players.
