Reporter trapped on the second floor, several people in 109 washington avenue in little ferry were saved by firefighters and police around 11 30 last night when the building caught fire. Driving down the road, and as i was passing this house, i heard a big pop. It was some type of explosion. Not sure if it came from the garage or the cars parked in the driveway, then the whole house was engulfed in flames. Reporter lieutenant chris bowles says when he he could see was black smoke engulfing the building an he ran to help.
