Tigers Triumph in Day One at Duel in the Desert

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Tigers embarked on their first day at the Duel in the Desert in Indian Wells. Multiple athletes had great days, defeating two Kansas Jayhawks doubles teams and 4 single players. Tigers Set To Take On ITA Regional Championships

CLEMSON, S.C. – Seven Clemson Tigers will compete at the ITA Regional Championships at UNC Chapel Hill. All seven will compete in singles, with six tigers competing in doubles.  Three Tigers will compete in the singles qualifying round of 64. Sophia Hatton will battle Mathilde Delaney from Presbyterian College at 9 a.m. on October 19th. Leigh Van Zyll takes on Sara Suchankov from UNC Charolette at 9 a.m. on October 19th. Lastly, Alexandra Antilla competes against Jade Houston from North Carolina Central University at 10 a.m. on October 19th.  In the A1 bracket, Alina Tsyurpalevych will compete but has yet to have a competitor named. Eleni Louka takes on Nevena Carton, and the time and day are TBD.  In the A2 bracket, Cristina Mayoroba competes against Anna Babayan from Coastal Carolina. Three Clemson Tigers to Compete in the ITA Women s All-American Championship – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

CARY N.C. – Three Clemson Tigers are set to compete in the ITA Women’s All-American Championships this weekend. Cristina Mayorove (123), Eleni Louka (86), and Daniella Medvedeva (101) will battle it out in the round of 128 for a chance to move forward in the tournament.  All three athletes will compete starting Saturday, September 30th. Louka will battle against the University of Florida's Emily De Oliveira at 9:00 a.m. Mayorova is up against Iowa’s Daianne Hayashida at 10:45 a.m. Medvedeva will compete at 11 a.m. vs. Texas Tech’s Metka Komac.  Louka finished her 2022-23 campaign with an 11-17 overall record and an 8-13 record in duals. The senior ended the season with a 2-9 overall conference record. Medvedeva finished her junior season with an overall record of 20-10, 18-7 record in duals and a conference record of 7-6. CLEMSON, S.C. – Three Clemson Women’s Tennis student-athletes have been named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Preseason Rankings as announced by ITA on Tuesday.  Eleni Louka has been selected 86th in the women’s Division 1 Singles Preseason Rankings. Alongside Louka is Daniella Medvedeva who was tabbed 101st and coming in at 123 is Christina Mayorova.  Louka finished her 2022-23 campaign with a 11-17 overall record and a 8-13 record in duals. The senior ended the season with a 2-9 overall conference record. Medvedeva finished her junior season with an overall record of 20-10, 18-7 record in duals and a conference record of 7-6.
