The lawsuit was filed in september of 2014 by the city over unresolved costs from the 2012 deconsolidation of the agencies. So, now that things are settled what does that mean for each side. Under the settlement, both sides have agreed to drop Financial Claims against the other. And the district will pay back Workers Compensation money it began withholding when reno filed the suit. In the end, truckee meadows will pay more workers comp. Plus interest to the city of reno. During yesterdays meeting.
