3 bill 3 we begin this morning. With overnight news. Reno police are investigating a shooting that happened just before midnight. At siris casino. In the 200 block of north virginia street. Police tell news 4 that the shooting took place inside the casino. And that one person was taken to renown with unknown injuries. One person is currently in custody. And all parties involved are reportedly cooperating with the investigation. 3 bill we will be following this story throughout the day. Fired several shots into one reno apartment. Injuring a man inside. Police say it happened in the 100 block of grove street early saturday morning. When they arrived. They found a man sitting in his apartment with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. And he would shoot him. And he doesnt have problems

3 bill we begin this 3 morning with an update to a story we have been following on news 4. A longstanding lawsuit over the splitting of reno and truckee meadows Fire Agencies is now settled. The lawsuit was filed in september of 2014 by the city over unresolved costs from the 2012 deconsolidation of the agencies. So, now that things are settled what does that mean for each side. Under the settlement, both sides have agreed to drop Financial Claims against the other. And the district will pay back Workers Compensation money it began withholding when reno filed the suit. In the end, truckee meadows will pay more workers comp. Plus interest to the city of reno. During yesterdays meeting. Mayor Hillary Schieve actually brought up the possibility of consolidating the agencies again.
