Isis made the claim overnight in a video that is described as graphic and disturbing. K kassig was captured last year. He was 26 years old. His friends say he converted to islam in captivity and changed his name to abdul ramen. Nbc news has not confirmed if it is actually kassig pictured in the isis video. His family has not commented either. The white house is releasing a statement, though. They said a short time ago, we are aware of a video that claims to show the murder of u. S. Citizen
