Leading to 495. The crash happened just north of this exit. The car that was it did not have any time to avoid that oncoming vehicle. It is hard to tell this was a vehicle. This is the burnt wreckage of the car that was struck by a wrong way driver in middleborough. Around midnight, state Police Responded to a fiery crash, a vehicle headed south in the northbound side of 495, slammed head on into another car, which burst into flames. There is no indication that time allowed for evasive action by the northbound Motor Vehicle operator to avoid the vehicle traveling the wrong way. Pretty seasonal november day, and looking for a high of 53 in boston, as warm as 55 lowell, framingham, and out through worcester, lots of lower 50s, as well, and milder south of town, notice norwood 56, and lower 50s from plymouth all the way down to the cape so a nice day ahead.
