In a letter to all mcdonald staff, Easter Brooke says the relationship was consensual but says he violated company policy, writing this was a mistake, given the values of the company i agree with the board that it is time for me to move on. Solarcity is a shameful example of the corporate gofr nance at its worst. This is a company headed towards financial distress and burning hundreds of millions of stress every quarter, and now a burden that the tesla shareholders will have to e bear. If you dont believe me, can consider this, the combined market drop in the value of both companies is more than the equity value of the deal itself which means that tesla shareholders believe that the t solarcity shares were worthless. Finally, it is hard for me to believe that this deal was not being contemplated when tesla and mr. Musk, himself, sold shares just a few weeks ago. Stronger, the market couldnt care less about the results. Thats what happened when the dollar rallied yet again and the dollar started off strong. Then gave up most of the gains. It reversed hard in the afternoon. Down to just 9 points. Nasdaq declining. 18 . Sell, sell, sell. I know that these two trends shouldnt be so powerful. Oil, dollar, oil, dollar. This morning about an hour and a half after i woke up. I read a tweet asking people what they think is the main driver of the market. They do a terrific poll each morning. It is part of the Worldwide Exchange and i love it. I plug in these. Sarah read them on air and her coanchor took issue with my focus and said the fed had to be in the mix right up top.
