The governor is now putting 94 of the state in the most restrictive purple tier, including alameda, contra costa, santa clara, napa and solano counties. The purple tier means cases are widespread and nonessential indoor businesses like churches, movie theaters and gyms must close and Indoor Dining must also close. Meanwhile, San Francisco, marin and san mateo are moving back to the red tier. That means cases are substantial and indoor operations are allowed at a reduced capacity. Good evening, im dan ashley.
