POCATELLO â A 29-year-old home burglary suspect was struck with five of 15 rounds Pocatello police fired at him during an officer-involved shooting near the Red Lion Hotel in September, according to court documents filed earlier this month.
The Idaho State Journal recently obtained two documents, a Sept. 30 affidavit in support of a search warrant and a search warrant return sheet authored on Nov. 20, both of which were filed on Dec. 15. The two documents shed more light on the circumstances involving Jake Lee Sheeler â the Pocatello man three police officers shot the night of Sept. 25 after he allegedly stole a revolver and went door to door trying to sell the gun during a tense multi-neighborhood manhunt.

AMMON An Ammon man pointed a gun directly at Bonneville County Sheriff’s deputies before they fatally shot him early Wednesday morning, authorities say.
Peter K. England, 21, died as a result of gunshots at around 4 a.m., according to a sheriff’s office news release. The entire shooting lasted under a minute.
The incident began earlier that day in Idaho Falls. The Idaho Falls Police Department spotted a suspicious vehicle, and when they tried to pull it over, the vehicle took off. The officer radioed the description of the vehicle and the direction of travel.

AMMON A suspect is dead following an unknown incident with Bonneville County Sheriff deputies Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred just after 4 a.m. in the 1600 block of Falcon Drive near an apartment complex, according to a county news release.
No specific details have been released, except that shots were fired resulting in the death of an individual. No one else was injured.
Deputies have secured the scene, and the East Idaho Critical Incident Task Force has begun an investigation. The task force is made up of representatives from multiple law enforcement agencies that investigate these types of incidents.
