Amid the row between India and the Maldives - triggered last week after three ministers' comments about Prime Minister Modi - a prominent Maldivian tourism body has called on India-based travel aggregator EaseMyTrip to re-open flight bookings.
EaseMyTrip has decided to suspend flight bookings to the Maldives following the controversial remarks against Prime Minister Modi by some prominent ministers in the Maldivian government.
The company said the board meeting was held on Tuesday. In December last year, platforms, the company said it has recently secured a non-controlling,13% stake in Eco Hotels and Resorts Limited, a BSE listed entity.
