These are some of the first pictures. You can tell this is a very serious crash. Multiple engines responded to this and chp is on the scene. Northbound 101 between bailey and 85. This is ia deadly crash. They are called for the coroner at the scene and we have a crew arriving as well. So this is going to be a major problem for you if you are in the area of gilroy, getting up to morgan hill and san jose. Itll impact the commute for hours. Northbound 101. If you are driving in the area i would suggest getting off the freeway and using side roads, perhaps monterey highway and road instead of highway 101. We are looking at some of the faraway commute, westbound 580 and 205, slow at tracy. We have an injury crash westbound 580 and that hasnt caused a big back up yet. Some of the death has been ruled suicides and others from inattentiveness. The plan is to get help for the mentally ill and homeless that live alongside the tracks. First, they have to be kicked out. At the meeting this week, the city council banned overnight parking and five arcing lots, including this park and ride near a smart crossing where two people died this month. People get hit by the train. They werent even involved. Reporter about a dozen people live in rvs and campers in the lot. John hill said he and others work hard to keep it clean and free of trash. Residents have created a small memorial for one victim. A troubled young woman named joy. Hill said he resents that smart and the city are connecting her death to the homeless living here.
