If you are driving in the area i would suggest getting off the freeway and using side roads, perhaps monterey highway and road instead of highway 101. We are looking at some of the faraway commute, westbound 580 and 205, slow at tracy. We have an injury crash westbound 580 and that hasnt caused a big back up yet. You can see the san mateo bridge traffic is okay. Like wise for the dunbarton and the east bay starting to wake up. Its 5 02. Started yesterday. That being a cooler pattern. Northbound 101. You can see they are putting one of the cars onto a flat bed tow truck. A couple of other cars were involved here in this incident on northbound 101. One lane is getting through if you look at the bottom of your screen you can see some people are getting through. I want to show you video of the dramatic scene before the fire was out. These cars were almost all on fire on northbound 101. This video taken in the 4 00 hour. You can see the cars were burning at one point the entire freeway was closed in the northbound direction.
