Gathered in dubuque friday morning to commemorate veterans day, there were some younger than usual faces in the crowd. More than 300 middle School Students getting the chance to learn about veterans in a much more personal way. katie hannan, 7th grade teacher an event like this really helps to bring to life the experience of the veterans in a for them. Events like this a reunion of sorts for the many veterans who gather to honor each Others Service and havent seen in a year. And its kinda neat to see ones from the other rs hat did serve and come back and talk about it. Feeney was the youngest of six brothers to join the military in the 1940s.
