safer? a lot of legislation came in. we have the first act in seven decades dealing with food safety. and what they re requiring is they ll require that rick: some of my friends right here. hi, guys. some of our large producers are going to have to meet certain standards. there is going to be regulation about how they store food. they re going to have to be telling the f.d.a. a lot. and it s also about food that s coming in from overseas that they re going to be much tougher standards and this has to be good because you don t know when things are coming in from overseas what the standards are that they used, what pesticides they used that have been banned here perhaps for decades. so there is parts of this that are very good. rick: on-line privacy. anybody who surfs the web, which is pretty much everybody. i don t know anybody who doesn t these days. is there now ways that would allow us to surf the web without leaving an e trail behind? well, that s what they say.
different or may be nonexistent. absolutely. so we have a lot of surprises. it doesn t come until february. but it s part of the really good part of the legislation. there is another really good part that deals with cribs. rick: tell us about that. this is coming in in june. baby cribs that have been responsible for a number of deaths of these young infants. so the consumer safety commission has new regulations and come june, many of those that don t meet the standards will not be sold. not only will new cribs not be sold, but putting a prohibition on selling secondhand cribs. so you can t get the crib at the local thrift store or something and accidentally buy something that is not going to work for your baby. this is another area that is really a good part of the legislation. rick: anything that s going to help make kids and babies safer and give parents some peace of mind. let s talk about food cause there are a couple of things, you mentioned peanut butter and eggs. how is
