i heard people say we can t get to a solution. the republicans can t come to an agreement. the parties can work together. would you support sensible restrictions on assault-style weapons? i don t think people should have access to weapons that have violent tendencies, violent histories, mental health issues. that s a nonstarter for me. one thing about gun control and banning guns moving forward, we have to have a realistic conversation, about there s 5 million of these guns on the streets. you re not going to realistically confiscate all of the guns. why does that matter if it s restricted. you re not going to get all of the jalopies off of the street that don t meet the standards when you get your car registered or you go to get an inspection on the car. it means you have to start somewhere. what does it matter if you don t get them all off of the street? you raise a reasonable

those policies which don t meet the standards of obama care because basically why, because we didn t know this disaster would occur. i m not sure he can do that without legislative action. actually, pat, i don t think congress can legislate definitely tell the insurance companies to put those policies back on the table either. i don t think nobody can. nobody can, yeah. if insurance companies don t want to do it, they don t have to do it. but what i m saying is i don t think obama himself president obama himself can absolve the insurance companies under the law unless you change the law. so this is a real miss. how does harry reid explain the panic that ensued when the democrats looked over the railing and saw bill clinton rolling away in a lifeboat. i think that s what caused this panic on the part of these democrats and the panic is what caused the response today. and i saw i see the response today as basically that, an act
