Offering free coronavirus testing for anyone with symptoms. The Testing Center is open for all regardless of where they live in the bay area regardless of immigration status. Theyre being conducted at fire station 7 in hayward. Fire fighters and paramedics are prescreening people as they arrive and no referral from a doctor is required to be screened. The screeners is going to ask some specific questions and criteria has to be met. So if youre not exhibiting a fever of anything over 100 degrees, youre probably going to be turned away. I want to emphasize that. We want to treat those and get those test kits to the people that need it the most. Were told those test results should come back in six to 24 hours.
