The fire broke out inside a building along east 14th at georgia way near the oakland border. Fire engulfed an upholstery store, quickly spreading to businesses next door including a popular san leandro jamaican restaurant called sweet fingers. The fire quickl grew to three alarms. Firefighters say the conditions were extremely challenging. They had a lot of obstacles as they went into the building and it is a lot of combustibles in the building, a heavy fire load, so the fire rapidly expanded on them and they had to pull back. San jose police plan to interview the teen, who stowed away on a hawaii bound flight two weeks ago, in the wheel well of a jetliner. Authorities say, the 15 year old boy is back in california, under the care of Santa Clara County child protective services. The teens father traveled to hawaii last week but was not allowed to see his son. The teenager has told investigators, he was trying to get to africa to see his somolian mother who is
