I was a sponsor back on the original legislation, and i think its timely on the latest version. Id love to be added as a cosponsor, and i think that youve summed up the ordinance. I will say as to the sentiment of some callers who would prefer that we not regulate the private sector, i think that you know, i dont think that we can rely on what makes sense to the owners of commercial buildings and hotels to decide what kind of protections theyre going to extend to their staff and what kind of protections theyre going to extend to the general public and to their patrons. So they have a role to this, but our role is to make sure that we put safety precautions in this. I think its important that we move forward to protect workers and patrons, and as you said, to fulfill the confidence in visitors to the city

Afternoon. Theyre in santa clara. Today the team did practice in the midst of the smoke. They say they can practice and be out there if the air quality is below 200. Right now as a point of reference its 199. The nfl says it will make a decision by tomorrow. Its been quite a week and likely going to be quite a weekend.
