The Wayne County Board met for their regular monthly meeting last night, working through a fairly light agenda. Wayne County Extension Representative, Tara Buerster, presented the board with an overview of Extension and 4H activities and requested the annual Extension Levy Agreement be approved by the board. The request is a budgeted item for the board and is presented during budget discussions. County Highway Engineer, Dennis Seidel made 3 requests for board approval: Engineering Service for a bridge onCH2. Engineering services for a bridge in Bedford Twp. Approval of PE/CE Services Agreement for rail crossing in Leech Twp. The board unanimously approved an ordinance, amending certain fees in the Wayne County Clerk & Recorders Office. The state mandated $10.00 fee increase is used to support the Rental Housing Support Program. The purpose of the meeting is to approve the application of a school maintenance grant for FY23. ### Intersection of Route 161 and Enterprise Road Work on the intersection of Route 161 and Enterprise Road in Wayne County is nearing completion. Wayne County Highway Engineer Dennis Seidel says that lighting kits for the new east west stop signs have been on back order but arrived earlier this week. He says that depending on weather conditions the contractor should install the new stop signs and lights at the intersection
