As the Thornbury High Street consultation comes to an end, we want to hear your views. Vote in our poll or write to letters@gazetteseries.co.uk. We will be sharing your letters, like the one below, every day until the consultation closes at the end of the month. As a resident of Thornbury for nearly 50 years, I would appeal for common sense to prevail and when we have survived the threat of coronavirus, that the High Street in Thornbury is not spoilt by a very bad decision to make the temporary closure to traffic a permanent one. This unique medieval market town owes its survival to date to the hard working individual tradespeople of Thornbury and also the residents who patronise them.
