Funding has been announced for schools in the Cotswolds to upgrade their facilities. On March 24 Gloucestershire County Council s cabinet is set to agree £6.7m additional funding for schools across the county. The funding includes £116,000 to improve existing facilities at Cirencester Kingshill School, while Farmors School in Fairford will receive £30,000. Chipping Campden School will be given £106,000 to improve and increase facilities. Cllr Patrick Molyneux, cabinet member responsible for education, said: “Ongoing investment in our young people is so important and something we are absolutely committed to. Over the past few years we have invested more than £100m, making sure young people have the best possible education experienced and can go on to be successful in life.”
