Whoopi Goldberg to Star in Sister Act 3
Joyful, joyful! … Nearly three decades after her last spiritual and perfectly harmonised experience, Whoopie Goldberg will be returning to star in
Sister Act 3, which was announced last Thursday during Disney Investor Day.
Goldberg, alongside Tyler Perry, will be producing the upcoming sequel, which will be making its debut on Disney+. But of course,
and somewhat more importantly, Goldberg
will be reprising her role as Deloris Wilson!

Whoopi Goldberg will be back as Deloris Wilson in Sister Act 3 in addition to producing the sequel with Tyler Perry.
Whoopi Goldberg will return to one of her most famous roles with Disney officially confirming that Sister Act 3 is now in development. The news comes straight from Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production head Sean Bailey, who revealed that Goldberg will be reprising the role of Deloris Wilson for the upcoming sequel during the Disney Investor Day presentation. Additionally, Goldberg will be serving as a producer alongside the

The 78-year-old actor will make his return as the iconic archaeologist in a brand new movie in the popular franchise, Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy confirmed during Disney’s Investor Day on Thursday (10.12.20).
Kathleen also confirmed the instalment is on course to go into production this coming spring for a July 2022 release, and as previously announced, James Mangold will be directing the feature.
A tweet from the official Disney Twitter account read: “Lucasfilm is in pre-production on the next installment of Indiana Jones. At the helm is James @Mang0ld, director of Ford v Ferrari, and Indy himself, Harrison Ford, will be back to continue his iconic character’s journey. Adventure arrives July 2022. (sic)”
