The Directorate of Education, Delhi has ordered the schools in the national capital not to organise any outdoor activities like morning assemblies and sports for a week.
The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) stated that at 5 a.m., AQI readings in Anand Vihar, RK Puram, IGI Airport, and Dwarka crossed the 400-mark. According to CPCB data, the average AQI in Anand Vihar was 447 at 5 a.m., with PM2.5 continuing to be the most common pollutant.
Following the rain, Delhi's 24-hour average AQI was 218 at 4 pm on Sunday, making it the finest air quality the city has seen on Diwali in the previous eight years.
