It ended up hitting a construction truck. The driver of the volvo was killed. None of the construction worker was hurt. They believe the driver was traveling more than 100 miles an hour at the time of the crash. There is also a fatal crash on highway 101 in santa rosa around 1 30 this morning on southbound 101 on the hern avenue offramp. A passenger was ejected from the vehicle and the driver was unresponsive when emergency crews arrived. Investigators are still trying to determine what led up to this accident.
